Since 1983, Rio Salado College has partnered with the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) to teach the incarcerated population the skills necessary for successful integration into society upon release. Our programs provide work-based education, life skills training and certificate and degree opportunities for incarcerated students. Distance learning classes are offered to incarcerated students in print-based and mixed-media formats. To request a distance learning packet or course catalog, call 480-517-8345 or 877-517-8345. It is important to remember that all courses must be approved through the student’s Correctional Education Program Manager at his/her facility.
